Are there any special events in your community ? What makes the local event special? If there are any special festivals or cultural events in your area, please describe them.

Well, umm.. there're lots of special events and festivals in my community. but the first one that comes to mind is the Han River Park Fireworks Festival. This festival is held every year in the fall and when you come here you can enjoy incredible(stunning) fireworks. Besides, there're various events like food trucks, performances, and parades, during the festival. These food trucks offer a wide variety of cuisines, not just Korean but also dishes from different countries. 

The lines for food can get pretty long, but these food trucks are another reason people love the fireworks festival. You can try all sorts of tasty food. What's more, another thing that makes this festival special is the incredibly beautiful scenery of the Han River.   In fact, the Han River is a popular spot for dates, so the fireworks festival is also a great event to visit during a romantic date.  

Another festival I can tell you about is the '뚜벅이'festival, also held around the Han River. '뚜벅이' means walkers as it's all about walking. The most appealing part of it is strolling around Han River Park, participating is various activities while enjoying the beautiful outstanding scenery.  What I personally like the most about this festival is that there're places where you can sit and read a book by the Han River. 

So, I think these festivals are really enjoyable thanks to the awesome activities and the gorgeous nature we can enjoy.

Let me tell you about the fireworks festival I went to. I went there with my friends. When we got there, it was packed with people, and I thought we should't have been there. 

But we found a decent spot, put a picnic mat on the ground, and just kicked back (relax) while chatting. 

The weather was nice and cool, and the view was absolutely gorgeous. (not muggy) Also I loved the crisp air. Plus, one of my friends brought some homemade Korean gimbap which was way tastier than I expected. 

When the fireworks finally started, I was totally amazed (mesmerized) I couldn't take my eyes off those breathtaking fireworks in the sky. We were so impressed. It was seriously amazing show, I mean it was truly scenic ! I definitely want to go to the festivals again next year.
